Off to the OIA Rendezvous
If you’re in the outdoor industry, you are very familiar with the OR trade show. This show takes place twice a year in Salt Lake City where brands show their wears to retailers from around the country. Now consider this…take the top brands at OR, the top employees of those brands and put them into a three day conference and call it the OIA (Outdoors Industry Association) Rendezvous.
The Rendezvous is an opportunity for brands to get together to talk about the state of the industry and get updated on the latest and greatest trends. According to the OIA web site, the conference theme / focus will be:

As I prepare to attend the Rendezvous, I’m excited to hear from the fabulous speakers who will be in attendance. I’m also excited to see old friends and make new ones. As the event winds down on Friday, members of the conference join to take part in community service work in the surrounding areas. Clean ups in the past have included everything from cleaning up parks and ball fields to river clean-ups. This years services project once again will have members of the industry volunteers hundreds of hours to help the surrounding areas.
