PORON® Cushioning Survey Shows Flexibility and Fit Most Important When Selecting Protective Gloves

Posted by Nicole Perry on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 | No Comments »

To kick off NASCAR season, we launched a PORON® Cushioning poll inviting people to tell us what is most important to them when selecting protective gloves.  Of the 653 people who responded, flexibility, fit and impact protection ranked the highest.

This is music to our ears as our PORON® XRD™ Material, which is found in protective gloves such as Mechanix Wear, is extremely lightweight, thin and flexible – all without compromising extraordinary impact protection against the many bangs, slams, hits, nicks and scrapes that often come with working with your hands.

The detailed results of the our survey are listed below.Mechanix Wildfire

What feature is most important when choosing protective gloves?

 Flexibility  35%

Fit  23%

Impact Protection  20%

Temperature management  10%

Breathability  8%

Look & Design  4%

Thanks to all who participated in the survey!  When have your protective gloves come in most handy to you? (no pun intended!)
