I always enjoy walking through the new product and design zones at ISPO. It’s a place where brand names take second seat to the new trends, ideas and innovations in outdoor and performance sports. While the minimalist trend has been floating around the design community for several seasons, it’s interesting to see a new minimalist, multi-function design influence spreading across various product categories.

We just returned from the Intermot International Motorcycle, Scooter and Bicycle Fair, which took place October 3-7 in Cologne, Germany. Over 1,106 exhibitors from 40 countries presented their latest models and products to nearly 200,000 visitors passionate about motorized and human powered two wheelers – and that includes me!
