The North Face®, 0ne of our PORON® Performance Cushioning Partners, will present its new fall/winter ’12 footwear line at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, January 19-22 in Salt Lake City, UT.

The North Face incorporates our eco-friendly PORON® ReSource Cushioning Material into its technical and lifestyle footwear collections.

If you are not aware, PORON ReSource Material is an open-cell, breathable, shock absorbing material that’s made with a soy-based polyol, which replaces over 45% of  petroleum-based chemicals.

With the goal of increasing comfort, cushioning and support in its entire line of footwear, The North Face collaborated with an industry expert in biomechanics to engineer and design its exclusive Northotic™ footbed technology.

At the Outdoor Retailer Show, The North Face will highlight the Havoc Mid GTX XCR from its technical hiking line, and the Ballard from its lifestyle collection.

Suited for city streets and mountain environments, The NorthFace Ballard is made with a compression-molded, 30% recycled EVA Northotic™ footbed with PORON ReSource insert for enhanced comfort.
